Death's Signal

This is not a game, only a prototype for my portfolio.

I made this game for a challenge at my university, they required 10 minutes of gameplay. I made three games for this challenge, and this was one of them. However, it was rejected because it didn't match their genre criteria (Casual). Fortunately, another of my games, "Quick Reaction," was selected as one of the best games.

The idea for this game comes from Death's Door. I wanted to create a similar game for mobile and Android platforms. At that time, I couldn't spend enough time completing "Death Signal," due to I needed to spend more time to finish the "Quick Reaction" for the challenge, although it is the best game I have worked on—professional and demanding.

After a few months, I had some free time and wanted to finish this game, but I was too distracted by other ideas. So, as I mentioned, this is only a prototype, designed to showcase a very well-made game with 10 minutes of gameplay (there is an Infinity level but it's not completed).

Unfortunately, it's quite sad. The potential of this game is high, but the Google Play market is doomed. Growing and selling games is difficult for a single developer. Actually, this is the last game I have developed for Android. I will pursue a different path, focusing on Steam and PC games. Wish me luck!
